Default Does anyone "offroad" their JK daily?

I'm *so* done with living in urbanized/developed suburbs and tract neighborhoods. So, I'm looking at a house that's pretty much in the middle of nowhere and the only way in is a 2 mile long gravel/unimproved road up a winding grade. I'd be traversing it twice a day.

The guy that owns the home owns a Toyota FJ and it's beat to hell. I'm not sure what else he does with it, but it looked *well* used.

Do ya think a Jeep will do the job? I suppose if there's any vehicle you'd want to own up there, it's a Jeep. Any persistent issues with the suspension or other things, for you guys who live out in 'the bush'?

He didn't beat up his FJ driving on a gravel road. You'll be fine. I'm not quite that far out but I do have mild trails right out my backyard and I'm loving it!

I live way out in the woods in Northern California. My very long, rough and washboard dirt road doesn't bug me too much having my Jeep.
