Question Does your rear end groan?

I mean the one on the Jeep. I noticed in the driveway today whenever I move from D to R and vice versa. Is this normal?

Could it be the brakes when the transmission kicks in to either gear? I know mine like to move just a bit when I shift into either reverse or drive and it makes the "groan-like" sound. Just thought I would offer the insight...

We could've had a lot of fun with this if you hadn't added this.
Seriously though, is your driveway sloped?

A teensy bit. Just enough to allow water to run off.

I second this thought.. mine does make a groan from the brakes if I am on a slight hill....

You'd think they'd have gotten used to that by now. Wouldn't you?
