Default Engine comparison

What is with this whole arguement on a mini van engine? I understand chrysler used it in their mini van but if it has more horse power and torque then the 4.0 what are the complaints? I got in to an argument with this guy because i traded my FJ in for my rubicon because the dam thing always got stuck. I had a 2006 wrangler x with a 4.0 and to me the only thing i noticed is the room to work on the engine the 4.0 had so much more room to work as the 3.8 is tight and sits right on the fire wall.

I know people who owned Jeeps with the 3.8 and were not happy with it. My wife has a 2011 Town and Country minivan with the 3.8 and it will comfortably ROAST the tires sooooo.?

In my opinion the automatic transmission is the weakest link with the 07-11 jks. My properly geared six speed is no race car, but sufficient for a Wrangler.

Tire size has a lot to do with the performance. The mini van I am guessing only hase 29's maybe 30's. My jeep spun the tires with I had my stock 30's on.
