Default Error msg help needed.

Have a gas cap warning that's on in my jeep. Just checked and the cap is on tight. Any ideas? This is on a 11 jkur. I'm out right now and this msg is annoying.

The gascap warning comes on if an evap leak is detected shortly after a re-fuel. The leak could be anywhere in the system, but if it is shortly after the tank is filled, the computer thinks the most logical cause would be the cap being not closed tightly.

If some amount of time goes by after a refill, and a leak is detected, the computer will not associate the leak with the cap, and will give a different warning.

Don't dismiss the cap though. It may have a bad seal.

Ok. I refilled like 2 days ago. I guess I'll start with the cap.

Thanks a bunch man.
