First road trip = good news.
With only 170 miles on the odometer, I set out for a 500 mile drive (each way) last friday night. The first 200 miles or so, the JK felt a bit soft anf floaty on the freeway...but it tightened up and settled in and on the way home, I was going pretty quick through some twisty sections and had no issues.
No problems whatsoever...other than the lack of any real armrests, it was a comfortable drive. I even hit about 30 miles of monsoon like rain and wind...lots of hydroplaning, but no leaks in the freedom top! Yay!
Also, $63/tank for gas is a bit more than Im used too, but it got decent mileage on the highway. Id have to figure it out, but I stopped the same places I did when I drove my GTI on the same journey. No complaints...
