Default Flat fenders or 2 1/2" lift??

To help fit the 33s without trail rubbing, what would be the better use of $800, flat fenders or a 2 1/2" lift?

my first choice would be to trim the stock fenders and save your money for some other upgrades.

Thanks. I thought about that but when I look at my other home projects, trimming the fenders myself would look much less than perfect. I think I would rather keep the stock fenders with a lift or go with a cleaner looking new flat fender.

Really not that hard to cut your fenders. I'm 16 with no experience and I cut mine with a jig saw.. Although I did cut a separate pair that wasn't on my jeep. Really just takes a good tape job

I think it all depends on your future plans. If you eventually want to move up to 35s later down the road then I would go with the lift that way you are ready the go for the larger tire size. If money is really tight right now then I'd trim, call it a day and start saving for a nice lift and 35s. Just my

Depends on future plans. If you are just trying to keep the 33's from rubbing how about a leveling kit?

X'2! Tf leveling kit boasts 33-34" tires. You might need spacers for stock wheels. With flatties or trimmed flares you could run 35's as well.
