Yes, it is. Only reason I can get away with it, I'm sure. Still, I've had no issues running them. I do run the tires at 38PSI on the road to keep the center wearing correctly.

What's a good PSI for dirt trails that involve no real rock crawling?

20. But go lower when the situation demands it--say to cross soft sand--then back to 20 once across it.
