Default How much does your Jeep weigh?
I was wondering how much my Jeep weighs with all my recovery gear in it. I will fill up the gas tank after church tomorrow then stop by the truck stop and weigh it. I will post the results tomorrow. Does anyone know what their Jeep weighs off hand? Thanks.

If anyone is interested, I can drive up onto 4 scales and post the stats for each wheel on a 2008 Rubicon Unlimited automatic, tow package, hard top, stock condition. I usually do this with half a tank of gas.

Good question, wouldn't mind knowing. Right now I'm light, I'm still stock and have no hard-top and no back seat so maybe in the 3600-3700lb range.

Both the 07 and 08 sales brochures list the 2WD Unlimited at 3976 lbs and the 4WD at 4180 lbs. It doesn't mention soft or hardtop.

When I shift into 4wd it gets heavier? So thats why my MPG goes down...

My stock 4dr JK rubi with soft top, hard doors, 2 adults and some misc stuff in the back is 5050lbs with full tank of gas. Weighed on a certified scale.
