That's a really vague question. What lifts are you thinking about? What kind if budget do you have in mind? Are you lifting just for show, to off road, or just increases tire size or maybe all three? Do a few searches. Lots of good threads on 2.5 lifts ranging from $150 budget boost to $1500 max flex lifts.

Those numbers are just guesses really. Unless you're doing a puck lift, actual lift height will vary based on the lift manufacturer and how much your Jeep weighs. In my experience, those numbers tend to be minumums. For instance, the 3" Full Traction lift on my JK lifted over 4 inches. Exact opposiste for tires for some reason. They tend to run smaller than what is advertised.

Welcome!
Indeed, your question is a bit vague...it's kind of like asking "what sounds good right now?" You'll get a lot of different answers, some of which are good for some people, and some of which are good for other people.
I highly recommend checking out the "modified JK" section of this forum and doing some searching. You can read about all the different types and brands of lifts and which might be a good choice for your build. Check it all out and ask questions if you get stuck!
