I installed the Metal header yesterday. I am speechless. I cannot believe how much quieter my jeep is now. Holy crap, if you have an 07 or 08 soft top with a warped plastic header, I highly recommend doing the repair! Now my jeep sounds like a Jeep and not an open cockpit biplane!!

THe part # is: part #68049276AB
from Moparonline parts. It is funny, I selected my vehicle as an 07 Jeep wrangler 2 door and it said no parts found. I changed the search criteria to a 10 model and it linked it. It came with a new bar with the latches for the top and the metal header replacement and the screws. It is an easy fix but with 2 people. You have to line up the new bar with the new header panel and tape it in place. Then you screw everything in. It still helps to have someone hold it while someone else does the work. My old header stuck up about 1/3 of an inch which made for some pretty horrendious wind noise. The new panel pulls down tight. the top is actually sucked down slightly below the top of the windshield now. Ill post some pics tomorrow
