Default Jeep app for rain

awhile back a read a post that there was or is a app that notifies you if it is going to rain or something like that. I maybe just mistaken but if anyone knows of it could you please post what it is called.

Hundreds of such apps came up with a google search for "weather app".

I've had pretty good luck just looking up at the sky.

I have it on my 730N as part of my Sirius subscription. It's called Travel Link. Basically you can see the forecast in your area in 3 ways, current forecast, future forecast which shows you later in the day and then the 5 day forecast. The other option is you can see a live weather map showing you the rain relative to your position. It's not always completely accurate but it's saved me a few times.

Well, if you need an app for that ... I see one on Google Play called Jeep Weather. A quick search should lead you to it. Looks like you enter the weather parameters where you're comfortable with the top down (temp, wind, time of day, percentage chance of rain) and it notifies you when the forecast matches. Is that what you're looking for?

And of course, there's always Ron's advice, which seems pretty sound to me.

I have the Jeep Weather app. It's cool, but it's not that accurate.

The Weather Channel app sends alerts telling you when rain will start based on your current location and how long it will last... I find it pretty accurate.
