I know its not a JK but I have a question that maybe you guys can help me out with.

My friend has a 2012 Jeep Compass that shes had the same issue with for the past year. When she turns on the satellite radio when its really hot the Jeep will sometimes stutter and or shut off, then often times after that it wont start. she has had it to the jeep dealership 3 times as of today and one more its considered a lemon here in Indiana. Do you guys have any ideas on what it possibly could be. she didnt tell me what all they have done, but I would assume under warranty they have already changed the radio, and probably reran or looked at the wires on the dash to the radio and to the ignition.

Any help would be great even if its just an idea, Ive been searching the web and no one else seems to be having this issue.

That's super strange. After the car dies does it the engine turn over when attempting to restart or does it act like the battery is dead?

from what I understand its like a dead battery and if you let it sit, it then starts, which I suggested maybe a loose ground wire or corrosion on it but I would imagine they checked that? Ill have to ask her later I called but she didnt answer.

hey hey hey, its not mine lol right now my garage is full of fords until I find a new jeep. but I think its a lemon too. its got one more try, in indiana it has to go in 4 times for the same issue
