Default Jeep problem!! Please help

So today my 2009 jeep jk began making a very loud and ugly noise. Even though I dont know crap I was able to notice that it came from the "driver shaft" (I think), so i took video of what i found odd. When in reverse my jeep makes a noise, but while driving it makes and even louder noise. Please help me with whatever you know my fellow jeepers!!

Front drive shaft is disconnected from the transfer case.

Can't tell from the pictures exactly why. Maybe the drive shaft's slip joint pulled apart?

Do not drive the Jeep until it's fixed.

What Ron said. If it's not too much trouble, I'd be interested in seeing a closer picture from below of this area right here ...

I hope that you're not driving that Jeep. As far as figuring out what happened, a better picture may help. Also, more details on what mods you have to your Jeep. Encourage you to fill out the profile info on your Jeep--you'll get better advice when folks know what you've done to it. A lift, BTW, puts stress on the driveshafts. The more lift, the greater that stress because the driveshafts must point at a higher angle (the pinion angle). The Rzeppa joints that are used on the JK driveshafts are nice and quiet, but not able to take very steep angles. Put enough lift and you can cause the joint to first start spitting grease, then eventually to fail. I've never see one before with a catastrophic failure, though I've heard of it. Being able to better see the output shaft on your transfer case, as well as the other end of your driveshaft, might prove useful in telling you how it failed. So might knowing more about your Jeep mods.
