Jeep Survey: Transparent Freedom Panels?
Just got a Jeep "Freedom Top" market survey in my e-mail. The focal point of this survey was interesting ...
Here was one of the only pointed questions:

Would you be interested in transparent (see through) Freedom Panels as an option?
Interesting ...

This makes no sense to me. If the weather was good enough to let sun shine through the panel, then take the damn thing off! Isn't there something more important these engineers should be working on?

I got the servey as well. I think the clear panels would be nice in the winter. But before they make new clear panels I would like them to stop my black panels from leaking!

I'm on the fence about this... on the one hand, I'd love to be able to look up during the "bad weather" times and see the sky, but at the same time, I'm not sure I'd actually pay money for that.
On the plus side, it'd be nice to be able to look out through a clear freedom top and see when the light above/front of me is green (I've found that the top is in my way for many lights). I know HappyCurmudgeon has commented on this with me in the past - anyone else?

A slightly tinted version would be great. I would have my front panels off all the time, but with young kids in the back I hardly ever am allowed. If the sun isn't glaring in their faces, the wind is annoying them. I'll give them a couple years and then they will have to tough it out or find a new daddy

N2rock knows of what he speaks.
I have just three words tod add to his comment: Humid-I-Ty.
I don't care if you have the tops off, the rear top off, the doors off and the windshield down, the Houston heat and humidity will have you sweating like a whore in church the second you walk outside.
Having said that, the clear panels would be nice.
