Duplicolor makes a kit to make things look like carbon fiber. Two rattle cans and a pattern sheet. i have seen it done on wheels and outside mirrors.
Really simple. Clean, paint, put provided reuseable pattern over piece and paint with second paint. looks good when done. Dont know how it will hold
up though and not sure if you would want to change it at later date how easy it would be.

It's a dual ram mount that replaces the stock tray using the stock screw...

Outback Engineering

I also mount my GPS up there when travelling.

For those who painted their interior, did you use plasti-dip or actual paint etc?

I used Duplicolor Trim Paint for the black and then matte clear coat over that. Then used Rustoleum for the red.
