I was in the same situation about 3 months ago haha.. I decided to buy the 2" AEV spacer kit (from quadratec) and JKU Rubicon shocks and springs. I have a two door 2012 as well. The shocks/springs & spacers gave me about a 2.5-3" lift. The ride is really smooth. The kit brings everything you need and its very easy to install. Make sure that you follow the instructions step by step and use the proper tools.

Just something to think about. Let me know if you need more information.

Later,
Luis

Here is a pic so you can compare the front (stock) and the rear (JKU rubicon shocks and springs)

I put my 2.5" bb on and wheeled once before getting my 35's. it made a world of difference offroad. I'd get the lift first but it depends what you want to run? What lift / tire combo are you interested in? If its 4"/ 37's then you almost have to do it all at once. Here's my 2.5" and stock wheels and cut flares for reference vs with 35's on. Didn't look too bad at all.
