Default Lighting upgrade...

The time is coming to replace the piss poor OEM headlights and fog lights... SO my question is, which would you choose:

JW Speaker headlights and JW Speaker fog lights: 1380$

Truck Lite headlights and Vision X fog lights: 775$

Is the extra 605$ justifiable? I have been really torn between JW Speaker and Truck Lite headlights. Hopefully some fellow Jeepers can help me decide. Thanks!

Are they the new models? Also how much better would you say your visibility is?

Default Hid

I went with HIDs. Headlight conversion was given to me. On eBay for about $100. Fog light kit on eBay for $50. Fogs are being shipped. The HID headlights are amazing!

I had HID's previously. The digital slim ballast, headlights and fogs in my Tundra, and loved them! Just want to go to a "less stuff involved" method this go around.

Well the Truck Lites and Jw Speakers do not need any ballasts or extras to be mounted, unlike HIDs. Also I don't want to blind the hell out of people like I used to..... Always got flashed or the occasional bird! Granted the Tundra was lifted, but still.

I use the Delta 7" Round Quad Bar Xenon Headlamp and KC highlites 6" 130watt long range. Love them all very bright and never left in the dark.

I have the jwspeaker's and they are simple plug and play. Mine flicker slightly but you will only notice that if you pull up to something like a car at a traffic light. The beam spread is where it edges out the trucklites. It has a very wide pattern. Are they worth the money? Not sure, I sometimes think no, I mean you could make big upgrades to your lighting for less. I luckily had a 500.00 rancho rebate that I used towards the cost of the jwspeaker's so it's like they only cost me 270.00 for the pair, and that was worth it. They also look sick!

How bad is the flicker? Also isn't there an aftermarket harness to get rid of the flicker?
