Default Locking Waterproof Box to bolt in the back of a JK...what say you

Looking for a lockable and waterproof storage box for the rear cargo area to store tools and gear when my top is off this upcoming season. What is everyone using?

Check out the Dee Zee boxes. They are nice, but the one I got is pretty big. I bought to put extra fluids, shafts, and tools in there when I'm out. Works great for that but do find it a pain when trying to put other stuff in the back (2 door).

I posted my trunk lockbox in this thread, along with others : https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/jk-w...torage-261954/

For waterproofing, I use a Bestop Duster, bought it when was the only trunk cover option, you now also have Tuffy's Security Deck Enclosure as alternative.

Here is an old photo, which shows the side channel

Do a search for pelican cases. They have many sizes and shapes and are built very rugged. The military uses them.

I used pelican for my photography gear. Not cheap, but excellent protection.
