Default Mopar Performance Rubicon D44 axle assemblies DISCONTINUED!

After waiting for over two months without my Jeep on the road for a Mopar Performance Front D44 assembly they have decided to discontinue making them. How they can discontinue a part in demand that they are still putting on Jeeps is beyond me. With those kind of decisions no wonder they needed to be bailed out. On the good side Northridge had a Dynatrac Prorock 44 in stock and will have it sent out this week. Just need to vent on this one!

The bigger question is what are they replacing it with? ... American Axle?

Default axle

I don't believe it ! I bet it's a case of another crappy dealership not doing the right thing . The d 44 stock housing is a piece of crap anyway ., you are better served with the dynatrac anyway !

Yeah I'm happy about getting the dynatrac just not happy about being strung along for two months just to have the rug pulled out.

So why did you need to replace the axle?

It was probably the 3k vs 5k difference that was making the difference to me. I had wanted to put the extra 2k into a lift and tires rather than put it into an axle right now. I just could not put in another D30.

Glad your okay... I hate how Chrysler strings people along... are they saying there is not one axle at any dealership in the country?... sounds like BS.

Good luck.
