More Gas Mileage
Hey guys any pointers on what I can do to get a few more miles to the gallon? Not that I bought the jeep for its gas mileage but I figured if only a couple mpg increase it will be worth it. I was thinking intake and chip? Lmk pls

Only advice I have is to drive slower and minimize the weight.

The way i thought of it was as long as i dont get lower than my last jeep, avg was 12-14mpg then i can deal with it. but keeping it at 65-70 with cruise on as much as possible and light on the gas that should yeild the best results.

You have to pay to play, bottom line. I don't understand why people lift and run 35's then bitch about poor gas mileage like it was a surprise. Will programmers, CAIs and exhaust help? Sure but for the amount you spend on them, it'll take awhile to break even. Go easy on the skinny pedal and enjoy the ride, if not, go back to a stock set-up.

Driving style will bring the most bang for the buck in MPG. Cost = $0.00
Do a test. Track your mpg over a tank of gas while driving heavy on the skinny pedal. Drive it like you stole it. Then track MPG over another tank while going easy on the skinny pedal. If your Jeep has one keep an eye on the ECO light on the dash. Go easy on the acceleration from a dead stop. Coast up to lights and stop signs. Don't use cruise control. I find it rev's higher than necessary.
Report back your results. I can easily get 14 mpg by abusing the skinny pedal. Back to 18 by going easy on it.

I have a 2012 Sport S 2 door and driving it granny style and 60MPH on freeway net me 18 city and 21ish on long trips.
Now, I just gave up and drive it like I stole it in city and 70MPH on Freeway and 16.8ish city with 17.5ish freeway. Its also winter blend gas in California so that might have decreased my MPG's too.
