Need some brake help !!
I had a sketchy situation happen my jk is a stick and I stalled on a advanced area we call slick rock. When I stalled I lost my brakes and had bent my tie rod so I thought I was going back down the hill straight and almost flipped. Is there an additional electric brake boost I can add due to the fact when you stall you lose vacuum. And I tried the parking brake but I hadn't readjusted it yet you know how unreliable they are.

Anyone know of a good cheap electric boost add on?
Or conversion out of a another vehicle I'd hate to drop a couple hundo and it not really help.

The engine wouldn't restart?
The brakes are supposed to still work without vacuum. It takes more push on the pedal, but they should still work.
If you lost your brakes completely after the engine quit, you have something else wrong.
I don't know of a commercially available back-up system.
An off the shelf electric vacuum pump and a check valve would work.

No it restarted fine and I tried the emergency brake. I tried to keep my wheel straight but the tie rod was bent. I also pulled my muffler so now I know if its running or not.

I'm thinking lack of vacuum is not the problem.
The only time my pedal goes to the floor with the engine off is with a bleed valve open.
Did the brakes go back to normal after the engine was restarted? (I'm going to guess it did.)

Ya it did its fine when it's running, but I have lost petal once or twice when I was in the mud. But I figured it was the mud and I pumped it and it came right back
