1% under invoice should be max. I would call it fair so if you don't like haggling. Pay that and call it good. You don't need tread lightly to get it. They know they do it, and so should you.

That was kind of my starting point and I settled on 2+% under invoice (can't remember exactly).

This was for a new ordered Jeep. On the lot I would want more.

First thing to do is get the printout that shows MSRP, invoice, the FF price (1% under) and employee price (can't remember % off).

If they won't print this for you they suck. Either say you won't negotiate without it or go somewhere else.

I've never quite understood these kind of posts. Someone in Arkansas will pay a totally different price than someone in California. Plus negotiating skills play a big part. Sure you'll get a general idea of what one particular dealer is willing to sell a particular model for, but there's very little guarantee you can get the same price anywhere. Just my 2 cents.

I paid 2-3% under invoice as we'll. I got a 2014 jk sport s. Love it. These forums really helped me know what The real value of these jeeps were. I got the tread lightly but didn't need it. Make sure to shop around. I ended up driving about 30 miles out to buy because they gave me the best deal, best service, and no hassle. And this is past several jeep dealerships around me. Plus They have a jeep club that I joined and went off-road with for the first time. Good luck!

2014 JKU Willy's Wheeler. $31,330. At the dealership now getting ready for Red Rock. Will post again when finished. It's finished, well at least part one. Did this at the Cole Jeep in San Luis Obispo, CA. You pay just a little more for install, but AEV covers anything that goes wrong. Parts were all the same price as buying online. I highly recommend this dealership to anyone in the area, the install tech, Zac, is squared away, and Jerry, the parts guy, knows his stuff. As a side note, I do not work for these guys and I get no kick backs.

AEV 3.5" RS lift
35" tires
AEV rear bumper

The $31330 was that the price out the door or before taxes and fees? Did you take it on trails as is before any mods? Have a great day!!
