Default NOO!!! I MIGHT TRADE IN MY '08 for a '15!!!HELLLLP!!!

My new employer wants to buy me a new car. I looooove my '08, which I bought new. But it's an x. I would love a newer Rubicon and my employer would pay for it. Should I trade up??!!! The differences between an 08 x and a 15 Rubi are impressive. I could either pocket the difference, or get the Rubi.

Thoughts???

Why not keep the 08 and get your employer to buy you the new rubicon? You don't get rid of your oldest kid when you have another, do you?

Get a '12 and up. The motor alone is a huge upgrade.

It's unclear to me what is going on here. Is the employer buying you a new Rubi assuming that you trade in your current one? That would explain this last remark about pocketing the difference. If so, then you need to think real hard about whether you want the new one. Fewer miles, likely fewer problems. Looking at your mod list you don't have very much in your '08 worth saving. Or, you can use that pocketed money to pay for a few of those mods you want on your current '08. If keeping both is an option, then you must decide if you want to pay for both--especially the insurance you'll require. And, if you're still paying on a loan for the '08, whether you'll want to continue to carry that. And, if you have room to park an additional vehicle where you live. Without knowing details like that, I have no idea how anyone can make a well-informed suggestion to you.
