Oil for cold climate?
I'm about to do my first oil change in Alaska. I'm yet to change my oil in such a cold climate. Could anyone tell me what oil I need to be using up here?

I think you'd be fine with a 5w-20 synthetic. Especially right now since it's not THAT cold. When it(very rarely) drops to single digits here I've never had an issue with a cars oil but I'd imagine 0w synthetic would be best.
Do you have a block heater?
