I ordered my Jeep last friday and the dealer said I should be getting an email from Jeep telling me where it's at during the build process. I know its only been about 6 days but I still haven't gotten an email yet and was wondering if this is average or if I should have gotten an email by now.

The wait is killing me...

I'd call the sales person and harrass them to figure out what the build status is. It's possible it takes a few days to get the order entered into the system.

Ordered mine last year, that web site is never accurate, and when you call some of them will just tell you what that site says but others will actually look for it. I remember calling and once and was told it left the factory and 3 days later calling and being told its ready for inspection. Took about 7 weeks to get to the dealers lot and 1 more week for me to actually get it. 8 weeks in total is still pretty good, I placed the order with expectation of 8 weeks and was pretty happy.

Thanks! I went with a Black Sport S, 6spd, 3.73 gears, power convince group, trail tow group, hard top, and anti spin differential rear axle.
