Default Owned less than 24 hours, rubicon won't start

Just picked up 2012 rubicon. In heaven until 24 hours later, it will not start. Turn the key and nothing, all the lights work fine, not a battery issue. Does not even turn over, I am talking nothing! The dealership installed a security device that you pull the plug and the starter is disengaged. The wiring was placed behind the clutch, so when you engage the clutch, it was pulling on the wire. Praying that is the issue.... Any other ideas out there?

HA! The dealer ship is Bonham in Texas. We drove over 6 hours to get there because it was the jeep I wanted..... Now, beyond bummed. Thanks!

Disconnect the battery for an hour. Reconnect and try. The computers on these things are a bit glitchy.

Sounds like a kill switch that was added with the alarm. Maybe it wasn't installed rightright

Your local dealership should cover this for you.

If everything seems to work and when you try to turn it over it all lights up but wont start it may be the key fob. I've seen that happen to a few ppl including to my parents with their Liberty. If the fob gets messed or damage the jeep wont allow it to start. Safety feature i guess, did you try with both keys?
