Default paranoid or something wrong

am i paranoid or is something wrong with my jeep. i have a 2012 sport 2 door about 2000 miles on it. when i apply a slight amount of pressure on the pedal i get a hissing sound that sounds like its coming from outside the jeep. it is also having trouble shifting (automatic) and occasionally gets up to 5000 rpms and i have to let off the gas for it to shift. are these normal? either they have just started or im just realizing them now. thanks for the help. i just noticed these issues half way up a semi difficult trail but i didnt hit anything.

Your running 35's did you re program the ECU with a procal or something equal so the trans knows what its doing? Did you notice the issues after going to the bigger tires or has it just started acting weird??

i just noticed it and i have had the tires on for about 1000 miles now. also i did not reprogram but it wasnt doing it before and that wouldnt explain the hissing sound im now getting. i was thinking a dirty air filter could cause the hissing? i just got done with a trip to the desert with alot of dust everywhere. and maybe its the tires with the gears but im just noticing it now.

I also get the shifting issue, but it only really happens when I really get on the pedal. I think thats just something that comes in use more when offroading. The hissing sound however is beyond me.

its happening with moderate acceleration not heavy on the pedal. usually around 40 mph i will have to let off the pedal because its climbing up to 5000 rpms which makes me nervous.

I would disconnect the battery for a few mins, then see if anything changes (w/the shift issue) & think about getting a Procal. If none of that helps you may want to visit the dealer. The hissing, I'd check the air filter & housing for leaks.

Did you re-gear with the 35s? Might be trying to into o-drive and coming out slightly...could be it?

My 2012 holds the gears a little longer than I like too, that is normal. I get a hiss from my Airaid intake, don't remember if I had it with the stock one but this is normal too.

Ok thanks I'm just constantly worried with all the off Roading I do and always waiting for something to happen so when something is slightly different I get worried
