Default Pillar making a rattling sound.

Just got a new 2013 Rubicon and noticed a rattle coming from the right pillar. Took off the plastic casing and could not locate anything that might cause the rattle.

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks

Try putting some electrical tape on the catch on the b pillar where the door connects.

7 years later and that rattle is still there. There is a section on that rattle. The tape does the job!

Do you have a hard top? If so check the bolt right above the pillar. Mine was doing that same thing tightened the nut & all is good

2008 JKU Rubi and have done the tape trick and tightened the bolt up on the windshield (a-pillar) area. Two different problems and both solved, thanks to this forum.....

Had an intermitent rattle in my driver sider pillar. I took all the plastics off visor off etc. figured out it was actually something in the visor and the only fix was to keep the visor unlatched but to let it rest on the the latch. This almost brought me to my end
