Does anyone know anything about the older, earlier model Rotopax gas cans? I have heard that their older style "conventional spouts" leaked. Are they the same as the Kolpin ones that leak? I am just curious because I was actually wanting to get the Expedition One Geri cans, but then I noticed on their website that their cans use the same "conventional spout" as the older model Rotopax, Kolpins, etc.. If you look on the Expedition One website under replacement parts for their Geri cans, they actually have a picture of the Rotopax spout. It has more threads than the newer Rotopax that I have seen.

Am I better off just getting the new style Rotopax? I am wanting to strap these to my roof rack, so definitely don't want any leaks up there.
