Default removing the Freedom Edition star

Just signed my order for my dealership to locate my CG Freedom Edition yesterday. I'm looking to have the star on the hood removed, but it sounds like it might be a process. Has anyone done it yet? Any advice or ideas on what it should cost?

It's just a vinyl decal. Take a blow dryer to it to heat it up, peel it off. Any left over residue, use Goo Gone.

okay cool that's what I thought, but the dealership seemed reluctant to do it.

That's because it might take a little time to do it right, so they probably don't want to assign that to a tech. Really, stickers come off pretty easily like the other poster said. I used a heat gun on low, held about 12-16" off the surface and carefully peeled my stickers off. Goo Gone (or lighter fluid) and a paper towel def is the way to go to remove any remaining residue.
