Run soft top-no door surrounds?
Anyone ever run their soft top without door surrounds? I found a good deal on a soft top but it don't come with door surrounds.
Was wondering how bad the leakage would be and is it even possible?
Just until I come across some door surrounds for a good pice?

You definitely need them. Otherwise the whole thing will be flapping like crazy. They are needed to tuck in all the sides and if you have a JKU, it needs the middle section to lock in place. You will end up ruining the top.

Got stuck out in the rain yesterday with no doors, no door surrounds and the top down. Put the top up just to get home but definitely wouldnt recommend running without the surrounds, especially in a JKU. I only did it in a desperate situation...

I'm going to go with no, they will not work. On the Unlimited, the rear surrounds are the ones that curve down to the tub. Your 2 door surrounds do that with the front surrounds. Door size is different also. Not hard to find used.
