Anything you can feel with your fingernail will have to be buffed out with a rotary polisher. If you want to do it by hand, there are tons of waxes out there that will fill scratches and some good enough to make them invisible. If you have access to a DA polisher, google "Kevin Brown method" and you can make it shine like a show car.
Here's my 2011 Rubi right after I polished her to sell. This was a DA buffer using Megs 105, Menzerna, and Poor Boys wax. Jeep had 40k miles and was pinstriped badly from east coast wheeling in the woods down four wheeler trails...
