I just purchased a 2010 Jeep Unlimited Sport and I noticed that 2 of the seat belts are failing. One of the rear belts is almost half torn in half and the front passenger belt is starting to tear. Anyone else have issues? I have an extended warranty but it does not say if this is covered or not.

Unsure if this helps,but I had a 97 TJ where the driver seat belt wore badly. They were replaced twice and were covered under extended warranty.

I have a 2007 with 170K miles and though it's predominantly the driver seatbelt that gets used, I've not had a problem with it (or any of the others). They are still in quite excellent shape after eight years, and the Jeep is always parked outdoors, not under a cover.

Same experience as Mark- 122k on my 2010 and no seatbelt issues. It gets driven every single day, in and out multiple times a day.
