Should I sell Jeeps
OK my fellow Jeep owners need help. I have a opportunity to be a car salesman for Jeep. I have been doing some events with my local dealership and the GM asked me if I'd like to sell Jeeps. What you guys think.

It seems like a good opportunity and placing yourself in a position to not only sell, but educate customers about what it's like to be a Jeep owner is good for the Jeep community. Too many sale people don't drive one and have no clue what it's all about.

I sell Jeeps for Chrysler and there are several pros and cons.
Pros: Get to see all the new Jeeps come in
You will get in good with the service dept
Jeeps dont have rebates, the price is the price
You get to tell new Jeep owners all about the Jeep community
They pay me to do mods and keep my top off during the summer
Cons: Jeeps dont have rebates, if a customer gets below sticker its out of your pocket
selling a 2013 black Rubi to a 70 yr old couple who are just buying it cause the grand
kids thinks its cool
to get a dealer to pay for mods I have to keep the stupid dealer tire cover on the spare

i sold cars for just 2 years but can tell you that the only way you will make good, honest sales is to have a passion for the product. i had no passion for the first line of cars i was selling and found myself getting a little crooked until i sold for a brand that i had a lot of passion for and it seemed more natural and my sales shot up. the only reason I'm not selling cars right now is because i went back to school to learn finance so i can be in F&I. just don't expect to make a killing selling jeeps. theres minimal margin and they usually pay you 150-200 bucks on flats. you're going to need them to buy aftermarket stuff to see a nice paycheck. sell used as much as possible and make lots and lots of phone calls! pm me with any questions.
