Default SiriusXM Radio Cost

Just got my letter notifying me that my free year of Sirius is up. They want $16.30 a month and there are some options for signing up for 1yr + where you get a month or two for free. My question is, what are you guys payting for Sirius? My dad seems to think he got a cheaper offer that was closer to $10 a month for his jeep and truck.

I just got off the phone with them. Every year they charge my card $166 for the year and I tell them I want to cancel. They always counter offer $86 which includes nav traffic. They always give a shit price at first but are easy to negotiate with.

I called them up and told them I would be willing to pay $75. After 15 minutes and two managers they agreed.

There we go...guess the old man wasnt out of his mind! I will give them a call and see what they can do. $75 a year sounds very reasonable....right now it shows $179.31.....not gonna happen

^^^^ What they said.

I remember with my ex-wife’s car it was hilarious. Received the first letter to renew for X. A little later a new later to renew for X-Y. Etc, etc. etc. It was probably down to half the original letter after a while.

They are just hoping you don't notice the crazy renewal fee in your bank statement.

Yep that's why I won't give them a cc number. No warning or anything. Bam! money missing. My free 1 year runs out tomorrow. I'm gonna let it sit for a month or two and wait for the low ball offers to come in. Then I will send a check but not cc number.
