Default SnapSafe XXL Lock box

Since I can't install the under seat Security boxes on my 2012 2 door I've been looking for a alternative. I need a place to put my kids IPads when we are camping or just out in the Jeep. I bought a 2 pack of the Snapsafe XXL boxes that are keyed alike. I mounted one in my trailer and the other on the Inside of my tailgate.

They are 11.5 x 8.5 x 2.5. Nice and big.

Are there pre drilled holes in it for mounting?

That looks handy! Can you take a picture of the rest of it? Does it fold down or to the side?? It could be a nice addition for those with the tuffy.

Mounted as in the photo, the hinge is on the bottom.

Is that surface mounted? A top or Side shot if you have one. Looks, like you could do 2 pm the gate.

Had to cut the trim piece that covers the wires going to the tailgate so it would mount flush.

ID:	626275 Lock on the top, hinge on the bottom. It doesn't stick out any further than the thick part of the tailgate where the locking mechanism is. It was important not to lose any of the limited cargo space the two door has. Click image for larger version
