Default Sold my jeep

Hey all,

So I sold my 2010 wrangler because of all the issues I was having with it. I want to get another one but I would like your guys opinions, should I get another 2007-2010 with the 3.8 motor or should I get a 2012-2013 with the 3.6 Pentastar motor? I was kinda hoping mine was just a Lemon. Any help or ideas would be great

Thanks!

Chris

Well hopefully you told whoever you sold it to it was a lemon lol. I would definitely go for the new engine. Bottom line is what is your budget?

With the 2014s coming out in a few more months, you should be able to find a 12 in your budget.

my 3.8 had a cold start tick which I thought was a lifter tick, the dealership replaced the entire top end and still on cold starts it would tick for 10-15 seconds then go away, they told me that was an acceptable noise for that motor. at the same time it began to burn oil, which I have read is a common problem but it wasnt something I wanted to deal with along with the tick. so we will see I have been test driving them and listening to them like crazy the one I do test drive.
