Default Superchips is a pain in my A$$!

SO I am going on week 3 or 4 now of trying to get my brand new superchips flashpack to work. They have gone back and forth 5 times now with updates and different things to try and get it to simply do what they say it will do.

Now It's locked my ECU up in some sort of tune and will not return it to stock. When I try to upload a "fixed tune" it says "vehicle is not stock E-43" and shuts down.

I know many have this and it works great, but I want my money back after they unlock my ECU so I can go back to stock.

Done venting, thanks.

Did you buy it new or used?

Wow......I've not heard of a total lock up like this. Totally sucks but we are playing with software that Chrysler didn't intend for us to touch.

Shear curiosity here- can you have the dealership override the ecu and flash regular software and then have superchips foot the bill? It's their program that's acting out and they've tried to correct the issue to no avail (from your description).

I wouldn't suggest that they would probably flag your vehicle

Look at the predicament he's in now, at this point you've got to evaluate all options and move about wisely.

Besides- they can flag the vehicle but once they flash it then you're on a clean slate. It's merely an option in the shit creek.

I was told this was the right tunner for my jeep by 4 wheel parts and superchips. Superchips keep saying they have never seen this before and keep changing the tune. I think it's been messed with so much now that it's screwed up the ECU. I'm going to go to their shop and just sit and wait while they figure this out. If not they WILL pay for whatever the dealership needs to do to fix their F up.

I knew I should have just used the pro cal from AEV.

I almost bought one my speedo was off when I went to 37s by 5 -7 mph. I regeared to 5:38s from 4:10s and figured it was probably going to be about time to do it and my speedometer is right on now. So I'm good.
