Default Unreliable weather people!

No prediction of rain! Left hardtop off Jeep last night , planning on enjoying my ride into work this morning. The 20 minute was nice for the first 3 minutes then the bottom fell out. Traveling at 65+mph, the rain blows right over. Five minutes before arriving it stopped. Perfect. I pulled out my phone and checked radar. Big ran 5 minutes away! So glad I brought the emergency cover. Got cover on with a minute to spare. Poured for 30 minutes. Weather service is the only job one can have and be wrong that often and still have a job. Weather guy was saying, wow, where did that cell pop up from really!!!

Here in the Northwest, Mother Nature really is a coy bitch, mostly. I find interest in how meteorologists forecast and predict weather patterns, although I don't trust any forecast any farther than where I last left my jacket (I always keep one with me).

I think if I were a meteorologist I would NEVER say 0% or 100%. I have been caught without doors (fortunately I had my soft top with me) on 3 different occasions that were "0%" chance of rain.

Firecapt,

I got caught on 401 North and Forestville Rd. I turned onto Forestville while looking at the radar on my 730N and I could see the rain coming up 401 hard and fast, lol. By the time I got the top on the rain had stopped and I was soaking wet in suit pants and a dress shirt. Man, I looked dumb!! I hope it doesn't give us another surprise rain the rest of the week!!

We had a 0% chance on our wedding day, and left in the Jeep with the top and doors off...got about halfway home and the bottom fell out monsoon-like. We got completely soaked, radio got fried. I was not a happy camper since we were supposed to be changing clothes and vehicles and headed to the hotel before leaving for 8 days.

Yep it was sunny... Then all of a sudden the bottom fell out crazy high winds and monsoon rain for like 10 minutes.. Then it was fine the rest of the day... The weather channel said 0% chance of rain.... Grrrr these guys suck at their jobs.
