URGENT NEED HELP! Ultra Badlands 17x9 5.5 back space
Anyone running these wheels? I'm going with a 4.5 lift and 37x12.5x17 tires. Is a spacer needed with the 5.5back space?
Thanks
Thanks

Im not running this set up, so may not be 100% right. I think you will have a slight rubbing issue so the spacer would
solve that issue. I ran 35 12.50 on stocks (came this way when purchased) and I had a rubbing issue

Running 37s on 5.14 BS w/ 4" lift and have no rubbing issues. Didn't even have to adjust turn stops.
You could probably get by with 1/2" spacers minimum. Thicker if you a wider stance.

Flexed, yes. Whether it was full or not I don't know. Don't expect to be in the future really either. Running no washers and can turn lock to lock, forward or reverse and not rubbing. I do have A/M lca's that give better clearance though.
IMO the things that would limit are the things most can't do much about. i.e. pinch seems can only be cut so much. After that cut orA/M fenders or more lift may be required.
Would be cool to see someone with the means run a comparison test on BS.
I see it like this:
Wider stance makes the outer top edge higher, more likely to rub on flare or body on the outside. Narrower stance makes inner top edge come closer to linkage, more likely to rub on springs, sway bar.
Yes, No? Way off?
OP,
what are your intentions for your setup? That may help folks steer you correctly.
