The new engine got me.
My first JK: 2008 Red Rock: lifetime power train warranty- I purchased the MOPAR lifetime warranty on my 2012!!
My second and current JK: 2012
I went in for a oil change and had my last payment already mailed: Seen the beauty on the lift- for a oil change and said its mine!

I'm on #2. The first was a 2010 JKS auto with 3.73 gears. I absolutely loved that Jeep, wheeled it plenty. Saw a 2013 JKR Rock Lobster on a used car lot. It only had 3600 miles on it. I was smitten right from the get go! It had all the normal Rubicon stuff I was wanting plus a 6 speed manual, nav and the upgraded interior. It was a major upgrade. Bought it and lifted it a week later and wheeled it 3 days after that. I don't even miss the '10.

I'm on #2. Had the yellow 2008 jk in college but I just couldn't afford it anymore. Now I have the crush JKU that I pretty much have to redo everything to get to the status my 08 was in. I miss my yellow 2 door.

I am on number two. The first one was deemed a "lemon" after taking it back to the stealership multiple times for a leaking roof/windshield/something. They never could find where the water was coming from that filled up my floor boards during a rain. So, they called it a lemon, and now I'm on number two.
