What's up in the Jeeping realm?
The vacation calender is going around now and I should get my hands on it in a week or so. Can you guys let me know of some good Jeep events going on next year, preferably within 1000 miles from Austin, Texas? Thanks. Nothing too radical would be nice, since I'm a newbie.

There are Numerous events all year @ Superlift ORV Park in Hot Springs ARK......( I believe this destination falls within your 1000 mile parameter) I would highly recommend the Labor Day and Memorial Day events that are 4 days long!!!!
I you decide on either of these........I will see you there cause they are already on my calender for the second year in a row!!
I had a good time at the Jeep Jamboree but it is big bucks$$$ per person

Barnwell Mountain in Gilmer, TX has a few events each year and is open all the time. I couldn't find any events listed yet for '08, but it would be a good place to vind a variety of trail levels and should be about 3 hours from Austin.
