Will dealership give any on trade-in parts
I have an '08 Rubi with less than 500 miles. I would like to get the Mopar off road rear bumper and the Extreme Duty Rock Rails. If the dealership installs will they give anything for the original parts since they are almost new? I really don't want to store parts I will never use again and reselling could take forever.

Check local salvage yards that supply body parts to the area body shops. They would love to have cheap parts for new vehicles and they might even part with a little beer money if your lucky.

It might be worth checking with a couple dealers in your area (preferably ones that have a body shop) just to see what they say. Hey, and if that doesn't work out, don't forget someone on the forum might want/need some of these nearly new parts. They might go faster than you think

i work at a dealership..in the parts dept ( not jeep) and we would never ever buy back any parts. they are used plain and simple. Now...maybe a dealer wiht a body shop...i doubt but who knows. If its a body shop then most of the time it insurance and they want new stuff.
