Blackwood Canyon Camp ground - Lake Tahoe
Does anyone have any experience/knowledge regarding Blackwood Canyon Camp Ground?
I'm planning a trip to Lake Tahoe at the end of August and it appears that every tent camp site is reserved (those that I found had reservation web sites), yet I see that Blackwood Canyon Camp Ground exists, but there's no information on it that I can find.
Is this a site that would have open spots most likely or should I expect it to be full. I liked that it was near Blackwood Canyon and Ellis Peak trails/Rubicon.
Does anyone recommend any other camp grounds that aren't Lake shore side? I'm also all about avoiding humanity if I can help it
