Default Butte Valley (Death Valley) for New Years

Went through Goler > Butte > West Side Rd. Ran out of time driving to Butte Valley so we missed Charles Manson's house and climbing Butte, maybe next time. Also found out I needed an adjustable track bar, my front driver side spring was clipping the frame. Photos taken by my friend RoguePhotonic@Flickr. Full set here:

"Detour" to Coyote Cyn thinking we were going up Goler.

Wow, very cool and nice pictures.

Small world too, between HST and the forum here. Looks like a nice trip, I've yet to venture out to DV with the Jeep, but I think this will be the year.

BTW, is that other Jeep Rogues'?

Goler Wash is one hell of a lot rougher than it was 20 years ago; you could practically do it in 2WD the whole way. Last time out I was dragging rocks on several occasions. But it's a great route; glad you got to see it.

Actually Goler is a county road up to the park boundry and will be bladed when a storm comes through and makes it impassable.
