Default Colorado trails

I just got back from a great trip. Mosquito Pass, Georgia Pass, & several other passes/trails.

Hi there, I am heading out to Ouray next week. In your opinion what are the must see and must do things in the area? I will do lots of off roading of course, so any other trail updates would be cool and any advice on places to eat would also be helpful.

Thanks,
Dave

Black Canyon of the Gunnison is only an hour or so away. No off roading, but I believe that is the context of your question. The north rim is even better, but it's a much longer drive and the best views involve a few miles of hiking.

Just spent a week a Silverton, CO All-4-Fun. Did Black Bear Pass on the Friday with 6 other Jeeps. Great week of wheeling around Silverton. Lots of good people from all over the USA. Great vendor show on Thurs. Best place for breakfast or any meal is Brown Bear Café downtown Silverton! Stopped in
Estes Park on the way home and spent some time with oldest grandson working Estes for the summer. 2011 2dr. Rubi worked great, 2950 miles total, no issues. Home safe and sound, retirement and life is good!
