Default Moab in October--Question

Some buddies and I are looking to go to Moab in mid October. One trail we want to do is White Rim. What would we need to do to get a permit and camp one night there?

we did part of the WRT about 5 yrs ago. we dropped in to the WRT via the Shafer trail, down the switch backs, and what a view.
we went in about 25 or so miles then came back out via the potash road. Although it's very pretty I think the entire 80 mile of the WRT will start to look a lot a like, but worth doing. I'd bring extra fuel.
Here's a link to help you out if your still looking for info.

Looks like about 4-5 of us are going over the Oct 22 weekend.

Thanks! That's exactly what I needed. Yeah, we may do what you did, but we're looking maybe to camp a night out there, too.

It really is an awesome trail, and if you take some of the side trips... it's got some amazing stuff to see. You will be surprised how much it changes as you go through! Bring a camera for the stars at night!
