Winter Trip to the Swell
A handful of us diehards headed out to the Utah desert and the San Rafael Swell yesterday for the last trail run of the year. Despite some issues and trouble with both my drone and Jeep, I still had a great time! Thanks for the excellent company Russ (and boys), Jeremy (and girls) and Marty!
We started at the Chimney Rock Road, turned down Buckhorn Wash and checked out the Mat Warner signature, the Buckhorn Pictograph panel, then continued on to the Lone Warrior, Swasey Cabin and then down into Eagle Canyon and the bridges over I70. We did plenty of stopping, playing and exploring along the way. Once the sun started going down we found the pavement and headed home!

Russ found a GeoCache at the Mat Warner signature, so we checked it out.
