What does the offset do to the back spacing, that is one thing I never really understood? I am in okc so not to far away from u.

Don't worry about offset. Backspacing is the important dimensiontthat everyoneuuses to Guageif the weeks will rub. These are backspaced for running 12.5" tires. I'm not going to Dallas after all, but can ship them to you if you like.
