This looks like the ever-elusive 2012+ model (version 86623?). Can you tell us where you purchased it? Can't seem to find it (at least not pictured correctly). Thanks.

Does anyone know if this would fit a 2012 2 door with the back seats always removed?

The ACE cargo basket? For sure. The Rampage rack would likely involve modification. I don't think the two doors have the same mounting bolts at the forward tub spot. Pretty sure the brackets bolt to the 4 door rear seat bolts, which is different than the two door rear seat.

I was trying to figure out the difference between the 86623 and 86624 models. Don't know how accurate the website is (picture is the 86617 I believe), but 4wheelparts website shows the 86624 to be the two door model with the seat removed. FYI.

Just checked out Ace' site and in bold lettering they say it will not work on a 2-door in the down position.

Guess they amended the description

thats the only reason I didn't grab one on Black Friday...

i just had a feeling that it would be too tight for the 2 door.

im curious to hear how they work out top down, my concern was that I might get complacent and leave some stuff on top of the top of the cargo shelf, and it would either blow away top down, or worse it would be easy pickings when you parked the Jeep and ran in somewhere top down...

i hope someone comes up with a way to adjust it to be 2 door top down friendly.

This got me thinking.. Has anyone with a trektop have one of these baskets in a 2 door? Wondering if it will fit. Site says it does, but looks to be close. Just a question before I ruin a back window and would like verification. Guess I could call, but there closed.
